The experience of our Captains and crews combined with the high quality of our boats ensures that we will always be “on time” for trip departures and again when returning safely to the marina.

Our Boats are professionally designed and built to a full commercial standard, the boats have passed all government safety checks and they have full government and full Tourism Authority of Thailand approval to operate.
The engines used in our boats are the highest quality available YANMAR marine diesel engines made in Japan. With over 900HP available our boats are able to cruise very comfortably at around 17 Knots (about 31 kilometres per hour) and this higher speed allows the boat to “plane” and to travel much more smoothly across the water than other boats of similar size.

Maximum time possible at the islands!

The high “cruising speed” of our boats, around 17 Knots (about 31 kilometres per hour) means that we can arrive earlier at the island destinations, depart later from the islands, and still make sure that our guests are back to the marina “on time”. This all means that

our guests can spend the maximum possible amount of time available to enjoy their island visit and activities available. The trip time spent with us is not spent mostly sitting on a boat just getting there and then getting back again!

Available Activities – Great Fun!

The boat caries Kayaks, Stand Up Paddleboards/SUP, Fishing gear and Snorkelling Gear, these activities are all available to our guests at no additional costs.
A “Water Slider” is also available for group bookings.
A fish weighing in at just over 4 kilograms is so far our “record holder

Additional activities such as “Jet Ski” and “Banana Boat” rides are available at some island destinations and our crew can arrange for and assist guests with those on request.

Praewa is pronounced as “Prare-wah”,
is Thai for the finest, highest and smoothest quality of Thai Silk.

“Praewa Princess” is the name of our latest built charter boat and she very well lives up to her name.
With a length of 16 Metres (over 60 feet) and being of a very stable catamaran design Praewa Princess slides smoothly over the ocean, her modern design also makes her “eco friendly” by reducing the fuel consumption required for the distances travelled.
Capable of carrying 60 guests and 5 crew Praewa Princess is well suited to cater for almost any size of tour group or event.
Even when fully loaded she is capable of much higher speeds, easily moving on up to 27 Knots (about 50 kph) if required.
This allows the captain to return to port very quickly if ever there is any personal emergency on board or if perhaps any bad weather is noted to be approaching.

Things you might want to check before making any boat trip bookings!

The Sea is not dangerous

The Sea is not dangerous – but like all things in nature she should be treated with great respect. 

The Thailand Gulf waters are warm and gentle not freezing cold like in some other places.  There are no “Great White Sharks” or anything like that, the only larger animals that you might see in the water like Dolphins, Dugongs and Turtles.

However if you do venture out onto the sea it is sensible to do that only ever on a boat that is designed to go there, on a boat that is well equipped and that has all the required safety equipment.

Most importantly you should only ever go to sea on a boat under the command of a competent and well trained and fully licenced captain who has with him a fully licenced engineer and an experienced crew.

You can safely select to take trips with us because our boats are “purpose built” for the job she has to do, they are fully equipped with all safety gear and all our captains, engineers and crews are first class and legally qualified. NOT all charter boats are the same !!!!!
